Local Democracy Agency Georgia is a non-governmental organization based on membership, its highest governing body is the general assembly. LDA Georgia's activities are managed by the board headed by the chairman. The executive director acts on behalf of the agency and represents the organization in relations with third parties.
One of the directions of the organization's strategy is to strengthen self-governments and increase the involvement of citizens in the decision-making process, to develop the capacity of public servants to ensure the effective functioning of self-governing units.
