To Raise the Awareness of IDPs on Their Rights and Entitlements and Existing Local/Municipal and Livelihood Programs
In 2017-2018, the Local Democracy Agency Georgia implemented the project "To Raise the Awareness of IDPs on Their Rights and Entitlements and Existing Local/Municipal and Livelihood Programs".
The objective of this project was to support the integration of IDPs into local communities by providing information about sustainable livelihoods and increasing the capabilities of municipalities.
The project was funded by the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) and US Department of State’s Population, Refugees, and Migration Bureau.
One of the directions of the organization's strategy is to strengthen self-governments and increase the involvement of citizens in the decision-making process, to develop the capacity of public servants to ensure the effective functioning of self-governing units.
