We just launched a new project in the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region!
Local Democracy Agency Georgia held a presentation of the project titled "Increasing awareness about the Association Agreement with the European Union in Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Region" which was attended by the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Governorand members of his administration, local self-government, civil society, and media representatives.

The goalof the project is to educate the public and raise awareness about the 21st chapter (Regional Development, Cooperation on Border and Regional Levels) of the European Union’s Association Agreement. The project will be conducted in the municipalities of the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed by Nino Khukhua, Executive Director of Local Democracy Agency Georgia, and the Governor of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti, Aleksandre Motserelia.

The project is implemented with the financial support of GIZ initiative, Association agreements between the EU and Moldova, Georgia and Ukraine
