Increasing Awareness about the Association Agreement with the European Union in Imereti Region
In 2017 LDA Georgia began implementing this project in November to increase awareness about Georgia’s Association Agreement with the EU.
The goal of the project was to inform citizens and raise their awareness about the 21st chapter of the Association Agreement, "Regional Development, Cooperation on Border and Regional Levels" in the Imereti Region.
The project was funded by the German development agency, GIZ, under "Cooperation Platform within the Association Agreement between Georgia and Moldova and Ukraine".
The project ended in May 2018
One of the directions of the organization's strategy is to strengthen self-governments and increase the involvement of citizens in the decision-making process, to develop the capacity of public servants to ensure the effective functioning of self-governing units.
