Local Democracy Agency Georgia with the representatives of United Nations Programme in Georgia has visited the winners within the framework of the grant competition “Local Initiatives for Racha-Lechkhumi and lower Svaneti Regional Economic Development" in Ambrolauri and Oni municipalities.

At the meeting, the entrepreneurs made presentation about their activities planned within the grant and also, were signed a contract by the parties.

We would like to remind you, that the following entrepreneurs were funded from Ambrolauri, Oni and Tsageri Municipalities:

• Khatia Tsverava - "Ham from Racha"
• Mikheil Metreveli - "New life of endemic vine varieties of Racha"
• Marika Sherazadishvili - "Beekeepers service in Oni municipality"
• Dato Chakvetadze - " Viticulture and Winemaking in Lechkhumi"

The grant „Racha-Lechkhumi and lower Svaneti Regional Development Initiative” has being implemented by LDA Georgia within the framework of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) “Fostering Regional and Local Development-Phase 2” project, with financial support from the Swiss Agency for Development Cooperation (SDC), Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC) and Government of Georgia.
