On 13,14,15 of September Local Democracy Agency Georgia, along with its partners Kutaisi City Hall, UNDP Georgia, and Peace Corps , is organizing an "International Model United Nations Conference 2018" in Kutaisi.

The goal of the project is to introduce and disseminate democratic values in youth, develop communication and professional skills and strengthen cooperation with the towns of Kutaisi municipality.

This conference will be done with the participants of Kutaisi’s sister cities and partner cities. We have 60 participants (18-25 years old), 30 participants from Kutaisi and 30 participants from our international sister cities. As a result of the project implementation, young people will improve their skills of negotiations and public speeches; Enhance the leader's qualities; Get closer to the principles of the United Nations work; Get more practical experience.

At the end of the project, the winners will be nominated in three nominations: the best position statement, the best speaker , the best delegation .

On September 14-15, the “International Model United Nations Conference” will be hosted by the Parliament of Georgia.
