Local Democracy agency Georgia continues to organize agrotour for youth of the region Racha-lechkhumi lower Svaneti. At this time, LDA Georgia will organized an agrotour in blueberry plantations and wine cellar for youth living in Ambrolauri municipality.

The young people will visit cranberry and plum plantations in Vartsikhe, also Baia Abuladze, a winemaker living in the village of Obcha, Baghdati region.

Within the framework of agrotour, the young people will get information about the Vineyard care methods, wine making rules and wine sales facilities.

 The agrotour is implementing within the framework of the grant „Racha-Lechkhumi and lower Svaneti Regional Development Initiative”. Agrotour is also planned for young people living in Tsageri and Lentekhi municipalities in various successful farms.


„Racha-Lechkhumi and lower Svaneti Regional Development Initiative” is undertaken within the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) “Fostering Regional and Local Development-Phase 2” project, with financial support from the Swiss Agency for Development Cooperation (SDC), Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC) and Government of Georgia.
