Beginning in April 2017, LDA Georgia continued working as the regional representative of the Georgian National Platform (GNP). We organized several informational meetings with local citizens, students, local authorities and NGOs, such as: Eastern Partnership Civil Society forum Georgian National Platform (EAP CSF GNP) coordinating council meeting
in Kutaisi - The coordinating council meeting was focused on European integration and the general objectives and tasks of the National Platform. The meeting was attended by 37 people, including members of the National Platform Coordination Council, regional NGOs, and media outlets. Speakers at the meeting included: Kakha Gogolashvili, Chairman of the National Platform, Lasha Tugushi, director of the project “Strengthening and Capacity Building of Georgian National Platform for the Eastern Partnership”; Archil Karaulashvili, First Deputy Minister of European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Georgia; Givi Tchitchinadze, Governor of Imereti; as well as members of his administration; Nino Khukhua, LDA Georgia Executive Director;and Nino Tvaltvadze, Eastern Partnership Coordinator at the European Association of local democracy (ALDA).

LDA Georgia’s Executive Director, Nino Khukhua, presented on recent activities that the organization had implemented in its role as Regional Representative. During her presentation, she emphasized the importance of the partnership between LDA Georgia and the EaP National Platform, underlining how the partnership supports Georgia’s EU integration.
