Local Democracy Agency Georgia (LDA Georgia) is pleased to share an animated video within the framework of the project "Increasing the degree of citizen involvement in local self-government".

The purpose of creating an animated video is, on the one hand, to raise the awareness of citizens and local actors about the mechanisms of citizen involvement and on the other hand accountability of municipalities at the local level.

The project is being implementing in eleven (11) municipalities of Imereti region (Baghdati, Zestaponi, Samtredia, Vani, Khoni, Tskaltubo, Sachkhere, Chiatura, Kharagauli, Terjola, Tkibuli) which aims to increase the degree of citizen involvement in the decision-making process and ensure the accountability of local governments.

The project is being implemented with the support of ’’the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Government of Georgia’’.
