Batumi Mayor and Chairman of Sakrebulo met with participants of the international seminar.

The Role of Civil Society in Public Administration at the Local Government Level, Territorial Development and the Functioning of Municipalities - The seminar on these topics opened in Batumi today and will last until June 1.

Representatives of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Moldova, Georgia, Ukraine and Belarus will discuss their countries' experiences, challenges and problems in this regard. The seminar is organized within the framework of the Eastern Partnership by the Foreign Ministry of Czech Republic.

Within the agenda of the seminar, the meeting was held today in Batumi City Hall. Visits are also planned in Kobuleti Municipality, Agro Service Center and Mtirala National Park.
