Local Democracy Agency Georgia has completed the agro tours within the framework of the grant “ Racha-Lechkhumi and lower Svaneti Regional Development Initiative”.

This time, the farmers from Ambrolauri, Oni and Tsageri municipalities have visited successful wineries, blueberry plantations and greenhouses in Terjola and Tskaltubo municipalities.

The participants has been informed about the rules of wine production, berry cultivation and received practical experience.

In total, the organization has organized 6 agro tours, in which was participated almost 100 farmers from Racha-Lechkhumi and lower Svaneti region.

The grant „Racha-Lechkhumi and lower Svaneti Regional Development Initiative” has being implemented by LDA Georgia within the framework of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) “Fostering Regional and Local Development-Phase 2” project, with financial support from the Swiss Agency for Development Cooperation (SDC), Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC) and Government of Georgia.
