Within the framework of the current grant “Racha-Lechkhumi and lower Svaneti Regional Development Initiative“ has been arranged a visit in the village of Zhashkva, municipality of Oni, in the farm of the young beekeeper who is one of the beneficiaries of this grant.

An Executive Director of LDA Georgia, Nino Khukhua has presented the implemented activities and the planned events of the grant. Also, there has been announced regional tourism forum in Ambrolauri on August 21st.

The presentation was attended by UNDP Resident Representative in Georgia - Louisa Vinton, Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, the Representatives of the Swiss Agency for Development Cooperation (SDC), Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC) and the local government.

“Racha-Lechkhumi and lower Svaneti Regional Development Initiative” is undertaken within the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) “Fostering Regional and Local Development-Phase 2” project, with financial support from the Swiss Agency for Development Cooperation (SDC), Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC) and Government of Georgia.
