The Local Democracy Agency of Georgia conducted a presentation of the project "Voice of Youth in Local Self-Government".

The project will be implemented within the current year within the framework of the Local Governance program of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

 In attendance were young people from Kutaisi, representatives from civil society, as well as municipal authorities. During the meeting, the project's objectives, planned activities, and opportunities for collaboration among all stakeholders were thoroughly deliberated.

The primary aim of this project is to engage and empower the youth within the Kutaisi municipality, facilitating a constructive dialogue with local government entities. To achieve this goal, the implementation plan involves the establishment of youth initiative groups, in conjunction with the youth advisory council. These entities will be responsible for devising and executing an advocacy campaign that addresses the specific needs of the youth. Subsequently, the developed budget programs will be presented to the municipality for consideration and further participation in the discourse.
