Local Democracy Agency Georgia, in the framework of the project "Civil Society Initiative", finished the second one youth club meetings in a row.

The speaker - Ana Shalikiani conducted a seminar on the importance and role of civil society, the activities implemented by civil society organizations and the achieved results. The workshop included hands-on exercises and at the last meeting was held a small group work which resulted in a healthy discussion.

The aim of this activity is to change the attitudes of young people / students towards civil society and community organizations, to promote volunteering among young people and to increase their interests in the activities of civil society organizations.

The young people from Imereti region will have an opportunity to become members of the next youth club and get more information about civil society.

The club was established by LDA Georgia within the framework of the project "Civil Society Initiative," with the support of the European Union and the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung.
