Organized by Imereti Regional Hub - Local Democracy Agency Georgia (LDA Georgia) and Civil Society Institute (CSI), a public consultation was held for representatives of civil society organizations of Imereti region.

The purpose of the consultation was to inform the audience about the issue of bringing the registration data of non-entrepreneurial non-commercial legal entities into compliance with the new law and to participate in the discussion.

The following issues were reviewed at the public consultation:

Review of the main directions of legislative changes, deadlines for ensuring compliance and possible results;

New standards established for N(N)LE;

Rules for compliance with the new requirements of the N(N)LE registration data;

Documents to be submitted for compliance of registration data.

The goal of the Imereti Regional Hub is to strengthen civil society at the regional level, by maintaining the sustainability of civil society organizations, ensuring the increase in the quality of transparency and accountability.

The meeting was held within the framework of the project "Civil Society STAR Initiative," with the support of the European Union and the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung.
