On April 19, 2022, in Kutaisi, Imereti Regional Hub - LDA Georgia organized a public meeting "Participatory Youth Policy at the Local Level".

The meeting was opened by the Executive Director of the organization, Nino Khukhua, and the leader of the project "Civil Society Initiative", Davit Aprasidze.

Discussions on the opportunities for youth policy development at the local government level and the challenges in this area were discussed with the invited speakers and the attending public.

The meeting was attended by representatives of civil society organizations of the Imereti region, the youth department of the municipalities, Akaki Tsereteli State University, as well as young people.

Imereti Regional Hub plans to organize similar meetings in the coming months, where various topics / issues for the public will be discussed.

The goal of the Imereti Regional Hub is to strengthen civil society as an independent, sustainable, transparent, and accountable development actor across Georgia.

The meeting was held within the framework of the project "Civil Society STAR Initiative," with the support of the European Union and the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung.
