Local Democracy Agency Georgia organized a meeting named - Dialogue with local authorities and civil society on participatory regional development issues.
The topic of the meeting was: ""Impact of the Covid-19 epidemic on the local economy: challenges and ways to overcome them."
The purpose of the meeting was to convene interested parties for a discussion on the challenges and prospects of regional development and to discuss mechanisms of cooperation between different stakeholders (government, civil society organizations, business). Within the framework of the meeting expert, Kakhaber Daushvili, invited by CTC, introduced the presentation аbout: "Economical issues and ways to overcome negative consequences caused by epidemic Covid-19".
Ioseb Khakhaleishvili, First Deputy State Representative in Imereti, the public officials of Imereti municipalities, representatives of civil society organizations and local entrepreneurs were attended at the meeting.
The meeting was organized by LDA Georgia within the framework of the project "Civil Society Initiative," which is implemented by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS) by the Civil Society Institute (CSI), a training and consulting center (CTC), a strategic research and development centers, (CSRDG) and Education, Development and Employment Center (EDEC). The project is financed by the European Union and is co-funded by Conrad Adenauer Foundation.
