We have finished citizens trainings in Racha-Lechkhumi Lower Svaneti region!

Local Democracy Agency Georgia is implementing a grant ""Racha-Lechkhumi and lower Svaneti Regional Development Initiative", which aim is to stimulate regional and local economies and to involve different stakeholders in the policy making process.

Within the framework of the grant 80 persons, including civil society representatives and public officials living in Ambrolauri, Oni , Tsageri and Lentekhi municipality were trained about sustainable local economic development (LED) initiatives and citizen participation mechanisms. The participants were awarded the certificates.

„Racha-Lechkhumi and lower Svaneti Regional Development Initiative” is undertaken within the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) “Fostering Regional and Local Development-Phase 2” project, with financial support from the Swiss Agency for Development Cooperation (SDC), Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC) and the Government of Georgia.
