George, the Georgian volunteer we sent to France as an EVS (European Volunteer Project) volunteer, shares his first impressions.
"Three weeks have passed since my arrival in Bordeaux and I can say that something new and interesting is happening every day. The program has gathered twelve participants from ten different countries; each one is a distinctive and remarkably interesting person. We share western values on which modern Europe stands; Georgian culture is considered to be closely aligned with these values" - said George.
George Gelovani left Georgia in September 2018 and he will stay in Bordeaux, France for 12 months. He will participate with representatives of ten European countries as a volunteer in the project "Ambassadors of European Values," which is organized by the non-governmental organization Maison De l'Europe Bordeaux-Aquitaine .
The main objective of this project is to raise awareness of European values for French students, adolescents, and adults through informal education.
We wish George a successful and interesting service and we hope you will too!
