On 15th June, executive director of Local Democracy Agency Georgia, Nino Khukhua, with representatives of United Nations Development Program, Otar Konjaria, Tinatin Tkeshelashvili and Gvantsa Iremashvili, attended meeting of the board of civil advisors of Ambrolauri municipality.

Zviad Mkheidze, the Mayor of Ambrolauri Municipality, led the meeting.
Nino Khukhua and the representatives of the UNDP presented on the planned grant competition, ongoing and already implemented activities in the framework of grant “Racha-Lechkhumi and lower Svaneti Regional Development Initiative”; The meeting attendees, also, discussed about local economic development initiatives in the municipality’s plans for future cooperation.

„Racha-Lechkhumi and lower Svaneti Regional Development Initiative” is undertaken within the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) “Fostering Regional and Local Development-Phase 2” project, with financial support from the Swiss Agency for Development Cooperation (SDC) and Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC).
